POIPU WHALEWATCH SEA KAYAK
Poipu Whalewatch Sea Kayak
Paddle. Snorkel. Marvel. This Kauai whalewatch sea kayak tour takes you to secret beaches hidden on Kauai’s rugged Poipu shore. Whale watching. Snorkeling. Bodysurfing. An active day of discovery from a unique sea kayaking perspective. This south-side coastal tour of Poipu and Koloa is truly an unexpected Kauai adventure activity. You’ll paddle in to secret beaches hidden in Kauai’s rugged southern shoreline. Designed for excitement this fulfilling sea kayak tour is rounded out with snorkeling and bodysurfing at exclusive locations, and can only be experienced by kayak.
Feel the fine white sand between your toes as you realize the only footprints are your own. Keep watch for indigenous Hawaiian marine life from your kayak like Green Sea Turtles, Spinner Dolphins, and of course Humpback Whales (seasonally from December through April). A pinch of luck will bring incredible sights and amazing encounters that can only be experienced by a sea kayak!
We use tandem, open-cockpit, or, sit-on-top type, self-bailing kayaks with foot pedal controlled rudders to facilitate safety and ease of operation. You’ll be given a lightweight fiberglass paddle with a tether, life vest, and dry bag as well. This activity is available Tuesday thru Saturday in the winter months from mid-September thru mid-May.

Lunch comes with pasta salad and a chocolate chip cookie. Cold drinks are available thoughout the day. There’s lots of room in the kayak, so feel free to bring along additional drinks and snacks such as sports drinks and energy-boosting snacks – no alcoholic beverages, please.
