WAIMEA CANYON BICYCLE DOWNHILL TOUR
THE MOST FUN YOU’VE HAD ON A BIKE SINCE YOU PUT BASEBALL CARDS IN YOUR SPOKES
Pedal. Coast. Marvel. Zoom.
Only Kauai can offer an exhilarating half-day activity like the stunning Waimea Canyon bicycle downhill. It’s all downhill and 100% uplifting. Saddle up, give your pedals a few cranks, and then the adventure begins! We’ll start at 3,600 feet elevation and take an easy cruise down to sea level. We take frequent stops to marvel at dramatic canyon cliffs, enjoy deep forest scenery, and look out over the majestic Pacific Ocean. Definitely the best scenic views of Kauai you can get without even breaking a sweat.
Your bicycle adventure starts alongside of what is called “The Grand Canyon of the Pacific” at 3600 feet on the west side of Kauai. As you wind your way down this geological wonder, you will enjoy panoramic views of crested buttes, rugged crags and deep valley gorges. From the main lookout point, there are dramatic views of Kauai’s lush interior and dazzling ocean coast. Think of this as a nature walk on two wheels, complete with refreshments and information about the culture, history and folklore of Kauai. You’ll never experience another activity on Kauai this uplifting even though it’s downhill all the way!
